Cops ask media to avoid unverified news in Noor case

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have appealed media to avoid airing or publishing unconfirmed news related to Noor Muqadam case as such acts can affect the investigation process.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the spokesperson of Islamabad police said that some television channels and social media tools are involved in spreading unverified news having no truth in them. The spokesperson said that no US official has met with accused Zahir Zakir or police official while parents of the accused are being dealt as per law.
