ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Sabzi Mandi police havearrested two members of former jail bird Aamiri gang of dacoits involved inseveral dacoity incidents in various areas of Sabzi Mandi police station and inthe areas of Rawalpindi, police spokesman said. According to details, SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed MustafaTanveer directed all Zonal SPs to control crime in their respective areas andcheck dacoity incidents. Following his direction, SP (Industrial-Area ) LiaqatHayat Niazi constituted special teamsincluding SHO Sabzi Mandi Sub-InspectorLiaqat Ali , ASI Anwer Ali and others succeeded to bust two members of a notorious former jail bird `Aamiri gang. They were identified as AamirAli and Abdul Rehman and recovered SnatchedCash, mobile phones and weapons along ammunition from the gangsters,whilethey confessed to commit several dacoities at various areas of Sabzi Mandi.SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer have appreciatedthis performance and directed all police officials for effective strategyagainst criminal elements.
