Cops catch nine outlaws including a bike lifter

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, while operating against anti-social elements, caught nine outlaws including a bike lifter and recovered five stolen bikes, narcotics and arms as well as ammunition form their possession, here this Tuesday.
According to details, DIG Operations Waqar-Ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city. Thus, following these directions, SP City Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted special team under supervision of SDPO Hamza Amanullah including SHO Bhara Kahu Naveed Tahir, ASI Irshad Cheema along with other officials which successfully busted a member of bike lifter gang namely Ramzan Muzmal resident of Shakrial, involved in stealing bikes from various area of Bara Kaho and recovered five stolen bikes from him.
PS Golra, on the other hand, caught two drug peddlers namely Muhammad Arif and Ahmed Khan and recovered 250 gram hashish from their possession. PS Tarnol busted a kite seller namely Waqar Ahmed and recovered kites from him. PS Women nabbed a lady accused Farzana and recovered 150 gram hashish from him. PS Bara Kaho booked two accused Murad and Adil Shahzad and recovered 160 gram hashish and daggers from their possession. Similarly, PS Bani Gala apprehended accused Adnan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
