ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops’ PS Lohi Bher caught three who allegedly raped two women during dacoity at a house in the area.
According to details, six armed men stormed into a house at Sher Dhamial and made all the inmates hostage in a room at gunpoint. They allegedly raped two women in the house and also took away Rs.1,00,000, gold ornaments and mobiles from there.
Following the statement of Muhammad Akhtar, police lodged the report and started investigation into the matter. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed SP Rural Farooq Amjad Butar to ensure immediate arrest of the criminals. At this, SP Rural constituted a team under the supervision of DSP Rukhsar Mehdi and assigned to ensure immediate arrest of criminals.
The team investigated into the matter through modern techniques and succeeded in arresting three alleged persons identified as Rasib, Imran and Adil. They are being further investigated and police team is hopeful to arrest their accomplices. It has been revealed that Rasib and Imran remained jail birds due to their involvement in dacoity and rape cases. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed have appreciated this performance of PS Loi Bher and further directed for effective policing measures.
