-Recover snatched cash, arms

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops on Sunday arrested 10 outlwas including street criminals and recovered snatched cash, mobile phone, valuables, motorbikes, narcotic as well as weapons from them.
According to details, following the directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, all officials of Capital Cops accelerated their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements and drug pushers.
Following these directions SP Saddar Muhammad Sarfraz Virk constituted a police team under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab including PS Shalimar’s SHO SI Suleman Shah along with others and arrested a wanted member of street criminals’ gang, identified as Muhammad Yousaf. Cops also recovered snatched cash, mobile phone and motorbike used in crime. Further investigation is underway from him.
Furthermore, PS Secretariat caught a bike lifter namely Muhammad Sohail and recovered stolen motorbike from him, while the team also arrested accused Yaqoob and recovered one punch from him. PS Aabpara, on the other hand, busted accused Muhammad Imran and recovered 129 gram hashish from him. PS Noon nabbed some Muhammad Ibrahim and recovered one 44-bore rifle from him. Similarly, PS Shams Colony booked accused Abdul Rehman and recovered 122 grams hashish from him.
PS Nilore apprehended accused Baber Ali and recovered 300 gram hashish from him. PS Koral caught accused Wajhat Ali and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him while the team also nabbed accused Ishfaq and recovered 570 gram hashish from him. PS Sihala, on the other hand, booked Hamza and recovered a 30-bore pistol from the accused.
Separate cases have been registered against these nabbed accused while further investigation is underway from them. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all SHOs for effective crackdown against those involved in drug peddling activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis. DIG also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to the masses.

Islamabad: On the direction of SP industrial area zone Zubair Ahmed Sheikh and in continuation with crackdown against drug peddlers PS Shams Colony, Industrial area zone police have arrested two accused namely Ahmad Khan and Abdul Rehman and recovered “Chars” from their custody. FIR no 154 & 155 lodged and further investigation is under way. SP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh praised the performance of Shams Colony Police.
