RAWALPINDI: The police rounded up 28 professional beggars during separate actions in different areas of the city on Thursday.
In line with the directives of CCPO Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari, the incharges of beggar squads along with their teams conducted operations around commercial centres, traffic signals and other business areas in various areas across Rawalpindi city.
During operations, 28 professional beggars were arrested.
CPO Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciating the performance of the special beggar squad had directed to continue operations. He said that the professional beggars not only disrupt the flow of traffic but also result in road accidents
