ISLAMABAD: Karachi Company police of Islamabad seized a huge quantity of imported liquor during special checking, a police spokesman said.
He said, on special directions of SP Saddar Hamza Hamayon, PS Karachi Company team stopped a vehicle No. TW/967 during special checking at Morning time. During searching of the vehicle 46 cottons were found inside the vehicle from which 552 bottles of liquor recovered. Police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Khan s/o Saeem Muhammad and Manzoor Khan s/o Muhammad Aziz. A Case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar and SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer have appreciated the police team. SSP Operations further directed all officers to accelerate their efforts against liquor/drug dealer to curb this menace.
