ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops managed to trace a blind murder, here this Thursday while busting the murderer along recovering the murder weapon.
According to details, on 14th July, a young boy Abdullah S/O Jan Muhammad R/O I-9/4, was shot dead by two unknown accused in a dacoity bid. The incident occured as at 11.30pm, the victim along with his other two brothers, were shutting down their shop Pakistan Sarhad Karayna Store at Aziz market I-9/1 when culprits surfaced from nowhere and asked them to open the shop. In response, the deceased replied that shop was being closed and couldn’t be opened. Upon this, the crook opened fire which hit the boy on head and left side of the chest and he passed away instantly.
On receiving information of the incident, SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, ASP Zohaib Ranjha, SHO Industrial Area Mian Khurram and Incharge Homicide Unit reached the spot. FIR was also registered against the accused.
Cops included shop keepers in the investigation and after analysis of CCTV footage and technical assistance, it was transpired that accused Faizan Satti along with his accomplice, shot dead Abdullah Jan.
Furthermore, the cops have arrested the accused and murder weapon has also been recovered. IGP Islamabad has announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for the investigation team. Applicant has expressed satisfaction on cops’ performance.
