KARACHI: Sindh government Spokesman Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday rejected an impression that the provincial authorities were forcefully shifting coronavirus patients to hospitals.
He said that anyone who had tested positive for the virus and show no symptoms were quarantined at home. “I want to reject this impression so that masses could approach the provincial authorities for virus tests without any fear,” he said.
Those having virus symptoms should not hesitate in approaching the provincial health department, Murtaza Wahab said adding that the department’s team would visit the suspected patient’s home for conducting the test.
The health team would guide the patient on the virus in case he tests positive for the infection.
