Court acquits Deputy Executive Director PIMS in rape case

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Executive Director of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Dr. Nasir Khan Durrani was acquitted by court over lack of evidence against him. Senior lawyers Raja Saimul Haq Satti Advocate before Additional Session Judge Islamabad on behalf of Dr. Nasir Khan appeared in case regarding rape of Farzana, a nurse of PIMS.
The lawyer informed the court that Farzana was involved in financial corruption and after department action started against her, she started threatening the officials and a registered a fake case of rape against
Deputy ED PIMS Dr. Nasir Khan at Karachi Company police station. However, the plaintiff acquired pre-arrest bail in the case.
Raja Saimul Haq Satti Advocate also presented the reports of disposal of case by SP Saddar Muhammad Sarfraz Virk over lack of evidences. The court agreed with the reports and acquitted the Deputy ED PIMS Dr. Nasir
Khan in rape cases besides directing SHO for legal action against the defendant for lodging fake case.
