ISLAMABAD: Economic and trade experts have hailed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a game-changer project that will bring significant economic growth and stability to Pakistan. At an international conference organised by the Pakistan China Institute, a large number of diplomats, experts, and citizens discussed the transformative potential of CPEC. Experts emphasised that Pakistan’s unique geographical location positions it as a bridge between the East and West, opening up numerous opportunities in investment, transport, trade, and technology, which will further strengthen Pakistan’s role in global trade. Addressing the concluding the session on Tuesday, President Asif Ali Zardari reiterated that CPEC is a vital trade project for the region, destined to bring prosperity and development to the country.
