Islamabad: Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Capital Police Officer Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bhukhari hold an introductory meeting with Operation divi-sion officials at CPO/ DIG Operations office on Sunday.
During the meeting, SSP Operations Malik Jameel Zafar, SP Plan and Patrolling, all zonal DPOs, SDPOs, DSP property, DSP Eagle Squad and SHOs of all police stations were also present.
CPO / DIG Operations told the officers that they will all work together as a team and only those officers who perform well will remain in the team. Those who show laxity and negligence will face strict departmental action.
CPO /DIG Operations directed the officers to treat citizens with courtesy, listen to their problems and resolve them on a priority basis. Inappropriate and rude behavior will not be tolerated.
He further directed the officers to make patrolling more effective.
Concerned officers should be present in their own areas and he will do self-checking at any time.
He added that they have been chosen to serve and protect the lives and property of the citizens, so every officer should do their job devotedly. Protecting the lives and property of citi-zens is their first priority, and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
