ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police is actively organizing various sporting events to encourage healthy activities among police officials.
A cricket tournament was hosted by Islamabad Capital Police Security division. The tournament saw participation from Frontier Constabulary and various units within the Security division, including JPU, DPU, SPU and RHQ.
The spirited performance of the FC team led them to victory, showcasing exceptional teamwork and skill. Senior officers distributed trophies among the outstanding teams.
ICCPO Said that through collaboration between law enforcement departments, such initiatives will continue to be upheld. He emphasized that sports enhance individuals’ character, promote fitness, and contribute to healthier societies.
Such recreational activities also improve the capabilities of personnel and foster better cooperation among departments, benefiting the community. ICCPO further said that safeguarding the lives and property of Islamabad’s citizens and creating a friendly and supportive environment for police officials are among the top of Islamabad Capital Police.
