CTD arrests five terrorists in Rajanpur

RAJANPUR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have on Monday apprehended at least five militants belonging to an outlawed outfit near Rajanpur.
As per the initial reports, on a tip off, the CTD carried out an operation near Rajanpur area and detained at least five militants belonging to a proscribed organisation.
According to intelligence sources, Kalashnikovs, hand grenades, suicide jackets and other explosives were recovered from the terrorists’ possession.
The terrorists were apparently shifting their network from Balochistan to Rajanpur. CTD officials said the terrorists were planning a terrorist attack in southern Punjab.
The terrorists have been identified as Ejaz Ali Khan, Sageer Ihtisham, Jabir Ihtisham, Anwar Khan and Kamran Zahid. Further investigation from the terrorists is underway.–Agencies
