ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan chaired an important meeting attended by the SP Traffic and all zonal DSPs. The meeting reviewed measures to ensure smooth traffic flow, effective traffic management, improved travel facilities for citizens and the impartial enforcement of traffic laws across the federal capital.
During the meeting, the CTO Islamabad directed officers to perform their duties with professionalism, responsibility and dedication. She emphasized the need to remove obstacles to traffic flow, address citizens’ travel-related difficulties promptly and ensure effective monitoring of major roads. She further directed zonal officers to continuously monitor traffic conditions in their respective areas, pay special attention during peak hours and adopt coordinated strategies to maintain smooth traffic flow. Officers were also directed to ensure courteous behavior, responsible public dealing and improved service delivery.
CTO Islamabad stressed that all available resources should be utilized to facilitate citizens and ensure compliance with traffic laws without discrimination. She reiterated that Islamabad Traffic Police would continue taking effective measures to provide safe, convenient and better travel facilities to the public, while taking legal action against traffic law violators without exception.
