ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad, Captain (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider visited the Sain Boota Shrine and Imambargah along with Islamabad Police officers. During the visit, he assessed the traffic arrangements in coordination with district administration and police officials and inspected the procession route.
He directed officers to take strict action against illegal parking in the surrounding areas and emphasized that parking should be allocated at a 100-meter distance from all entry and exit points.
Additionally, he instructed the installation of concrete barriers and barbed wire along the procession routes to enhance security.
He appealed to the public to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas and to fully cooperate with Islamabad Traffic Police officers.
CTO Syed Zeeshan Haider further stated that, on the instructions of the IGP Islamabad, comprehensive measures will be taken to ensure smooth traffic flow during Muharram.
