ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan visited Faizabad, where she met with traffic police officials deployed on duty and conducted a detailed review of traffic flow, operational arrangements, and the overall traffic situation.
During the visit, the CTO Islamabad inspected factors causing traffic congestion, including illegal bus stands, encroachments, and other obstructions. She directed the concerned officials to further intensify indiscriminate and effective action against such violations to ensure smooth traffic flow and provide uninterrupted travel facilities to commuters.
She also directed officials to continue strict legal action against traffic law violators and emphasized that traffic regulations must be enforced without discrimination. She directed the officials to maintain continuous monitoring of congestion-prone locations, remove obstacles without delay, and prioritize public convenience while ensuring effective traffic management.
CTO Islamabad personally monitored the ongoing enforcement operations against traffic violators and those creating obstacles to the smooth flow of traffic, issuing on-the-spot directions to the officials concerned for further improving enforcement measures. She stated that Islamabad Traffic Police remains committed to providing citizens with safe, organized, and uninterrupted travel facilities. She further emphasized that perations against traffic violations, illegal parking, encroachments, and other factors disrupting traffic flow will be further strengthened to improve the overall traffic system in the federal capital.
