ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad, Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, visited the routes designated for foreign delegations. During the visit, the CTO reviewed all traffic arrangements and issued instructions to traffic personnel to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
On the occasion, he stated that citizens should use roads connected to the Expressway and Srinagar Highway while traveling.
Strict implementation of the traffic plan must be ensured during the movement of foreign delegations, and alternative routes should be provided for public convenience.
While directing traffic police officers to perform their duties responsibly, he said that the Islamabad Traffic Police is taking concrete steps to ensure better travel facilities and safer mobility.
To avoid any inconvenience, citizens are advised to allow a 20-minute buffer when traveling. For guidance during travel, citizens may contact the helpline at 1915 and stay updated through Islamabad Police’s official social media platforms.
