Data shows Party’s anti-graft efforts in 2023

BEIJING: The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission said on Thursday that they imposed disciplinary and administrative punishments on 49 provincial and ministry level officials in 2023. Another 3,144 officials at department level were also given such punishments, CCDI and NSC said in a statement.
In 2023, discipline inspection and supervision organs across the country received about 3.45 million complaints tipoffs and handled about 1.73 million clues.
