DC Faisalabad in action to curb kite flying, business

FAISALABAD: The Deputy Commissioner, Ali Shahzad has issued orders to keep detained 10 persons in Central Jail for 30 days for preparing and storing kites and strings. These orders were issued to curb the heinous business of preparation of kites and strings under 3 Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, so that full legal force can be used to stop the dangerous sport of kite flying. He said that in the light of the reports of the law enforcement agencies, there was a fear of kite flying and sale by the concerned persons on which the strictest legal action has been taken. He said that no one would be allowed to endanger anyone’s human life and this business would be stopped with legal action.
