DC fixes prices of Commodities to ease the burden of common citizens

FAISALABAD : The District Administration has notified the prices of essential items/ commodities for wholesale, retail and Ramzan Bazars.
The prices have been fixed in a meeting of District Price Control Committee, in which the officers, traders and representatives of buyers were also present. According to the notification the Sugar will be sold at 80 rupees per kg in Ramzan Bazars and the bag of 10 kg flour would be sold at 450 rupees. The price of White gram(Mota) in wholesale is 220,in retail 225 and in Ramzan bazars would be sold at 223.
Likewise white gram(Bareek) prices 206,210 and 208 rupees respectively.
Gram black (Mota)131,135 and 133 rupees and gram black(Bareek) would be sold at 127,130 and 128 rupees. Gram pulse(moti) price at wholesale, retail and Ramzan bazars is 144,148 and 146 and gram pulse(Bareek) price would be 132,138 and 136, pulse Moong unwashed prices 111,116 and Rs 114. It is further informed that pulse Maash would be sold at 253,260 and 258 and unwashed pulse Maash is Rs. 239,242 and 240.Pulse Masoor192,197 and 195 and basin would be sold at 148 rupees per Kg in Ramzan bazars and wholesale and retail price would be 145 and 150 respectively. The mutton price would be 990 and beaf price Rs.490 in tehsil city bazars and in other tehsil it would be sold in 940 and 440 rupees per KG. The prices of fruits and vegetables would be fixed on daily basis. The Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad said that the prices would be implemented in letter and spirit where the people shall be accommodated at any cost on priority without any problems.
