FAISALABAD: District Administration has set up four new Ehsas Kafalat centers situated at Sports Complex Samanabad, Dijkot, Khurrianwala and Mamukanjan for fast payment of financial assistance to deserving registered women under Ehsas Kifalat program while already 9- disbursement and 6- registration centers are functional and 5- extra counters of HBL have established at Ehsas center outside Metropolitan Corporation. This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner Ali Shehzad while visiting Ehsas Kafalat Centers and reviewing the available facilities, administrative and security matters and overall arrangements for managing the rush of women.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Al-Fatah Sports Complex Saleemi Chowk, Djikot Road Sports Complex and Ehsas Kafalat Center outside Metropolitan Corporation and checked all the arrangements. He also urged the management of Benazeer Income Support Program having work with HBL Bank to take effective measures to increase the number of counters in the centers.
He further said that immediate plans should be made to provide speedy services to the women waiting for the registration process. Expressing satisfaction over the relief received in the process, he also inquired from the staff present at the HBL counters about the payment of financial assistance to the women and appreciated the steps taken to improve the arrangements. He also went to Sports Complex Samanabad and checked the availability of place for establishing new Ehsas center and directed the AC and BISP in charge to take immediate measures for setting up center.
