Karachi: National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) is likely to give decision on allowing the crowd during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 on Thursday (February 4), sources.
According to the details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s officials met NCOC in Islamabad today to brief them on the strategic plan if a limited crowd will be given access o the stadium during match days.
PCB has assured NCOC to implement strict SoPs at both the venues, Karachi and Lahore, who will host PSL 6. However, NCOC has asked for some more time to decide on this matter following the COVID-19 situation across the country.
It must be noted here that last week PCB approached NCOC with a request to allow limited crowd in the stadiums during PSL 6. PCB proposed a plan including strict COVID-19 SoPs for the spectators. PSL 6 will commence here at National Stadium from February 20. Karachi will host 20 matches where Lahore will host 14 matches including the knock-out stage and the final on March 22.
