ISLAMAAD: The delegation of officers from the 53rd Common Training Program (CTP) paid a visit to Safe City Islamabad, where they were received by the Director Safe City Islamabad.
On this occasion, the delegation was taken on a tour of the central system of Safe City Islamabad, the Command and Control Center, state-of-the-art camera systems, and the police operations center hall. They were thoroughly briefed on the working mechanisms and effectiveness of these systems.
The delegation was informed that Safe City Islamabad is playing a vital role in various sectors through modern technological projects, including the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Online Women Police Station, Dispatch Control Center, E-Challan system, and the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline.
They were also briefed on the performance and effectiveness of Safe City cameras across the city, highlighting that these advanced cameras are playing a key role in ensuring city security, preventing crime, and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
It was further shared that facial recognition cameras have been installed at the entry and exit points of the city, which are effectively helping in the identification of suspicious elements.
The delegation appreciated the modern technological system of Islamabad Police and its effectiveness, and thanked IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and his team for the successful visit.
