ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission visited Safe City Islamabad. The delegation was welcomed by Assistant Director Abbas Mehdi.
The delegation was shown the central system of Safe City Islamabad, the Command and Control Center, advanced surveillance cameras, and the Police Operations Center Hall, along with comprehensive briefings on their functionality and significance. The delegation was informed that Safe City Islamabad plays a vital role across various sectors through this advanced technological initiative.
Key components include the Police Operations Center, Emergency Control Center, Online Women Police Station, Dispatch Control Center, E-Challan system, and the “Pucar 15” emergency helpline.
They were also briefed on the performance and utility of Safe City surveillance cameras in the city. These modern cameras play a crucial role in city security, crime prevention, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. Facial recognition cameras have also been installed at the city’s entry and exit points, significantly aiding in the identification of suspicious individuals.
The delegation appreciated the modern technological system of Islamabad Police and its effectiveness, and they expressed their gratitude to IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and his team for the successful visit.
