ISLAMABAD: A prestigious ceremony was organized by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq to award ranks to newly promoted officers.
DIG Islamabad attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The event was also attended by SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan, SP Saddar zone, and other senior police officers.
On the occasion, he personally conferred ranks upon the promoted officers, congratulated them, and extended best wishes for their future roles. He warmly welcomed the officers and their families and congratulated them on this achievement.
Addressing the officers, he said, i salute your hard work, commitment, courage, and perseverance. I pray that the promotions and ranks you have received are honored with justice. May your children see you as their hero, and may your parents feel proud of you.
We will make every effort to bring joy to you and your families but in return, you must fulfill the oath you have taken to eliminate crime, ensure swift justice to citizens, and protect their lives and property.
He further stated, the only way to earn Allah’s pleasure is by making life easier for his people. By the grace of Allah, this is a department of warriors and martyrs. We are not afraid to become warriors, nor are we afraid to be martyred. We are here to write stories of bravery.
He also emphasized, remember promotion is a trust granted by Allah Almighty. Whatever responsibility is assigned to you within the department, it must be fulfilled without fail.
Moreover, the families of the promoted officers were also invited to the ceremony to share in the joy and pride of the moment. DIG Islamabad reiterated that departmental promotion is a fundamental right of every police officer.
