ISLAMABAD: Director General (DG) Safe City Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar chaired an important meeting. The meeting was attended by SSP Safe City Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Director IT, Director Systems and other technical teams. The agenda of the meeting was to deliberate on connecting the cameras installed in private housing societies with the Safe City Command & Control Center in order to keep a closer watch on criminal elements.
On this occasion, DG Safe City Islamabad issued directives to the officers, emphasizing that along with enhancing the efficiency of Safe City cameras through modern technology, the surveillance and monitoring system across the city should be further improved. He also stressed that the scope of Safe City Islamabad’s services should be expanded to make them more effective.
He further said that in line with the changing times, modern technology and available resources must be fully utilized to improve individual performance. Information Technology plays a significant role in the present and future, and its use holds central importance in all domains.
Therefore, it is essential that we gain professional expertise in this field to ensure its effective utilization in the coming modern era.
