ISLAMABAD: Director General Safe City Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar visited the Safe City Command and Control Center. Senior officers were also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the DG Safe City reviewed the live surveillance from the cameras and issued directions to the shift in-charge for further improvements. While directing the officers, he emphasized enhancing the efficiency of Safe City cameras using modern techniques and improving the surveillance and monitoring system across the city.
He also stressed expanding the coverage of Safe City Islamabad services to make them more effective. He further stated that in line with the changing times, modern techniques and available resources should be utilized to improve individual performance.
He noted that information technology plays a significant role in both current and future times, and its use is central to all operations. Therefore, we must gain professional expertise in this field to ensure its effective use in the modern era.
