DIG affirms commitment for protecting Capital against crime

ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza conducted a special briefing for Zonal SPs, SHOs, muharrars, and the Dolphin Squad officials to ensure a proactive crackdown against criminal elements in the federal capital.
On the occasion, DIG Islamabad said that the Islamabad Police is fully committed to eliminating crime across the district. He emphasized that action would be taken against the relevant officer in any area where a crime occurs.

He further added that smart car patrolling would be carried out at commercial centers, and hot spots would be checked. All officers should make patrols effective to eliminate crime, and they must show bravery in eradicating criminal elements, with no hesitation for any sacrifice.
Rewards will be given for good performance, while disciplinary action will be taken for poor performance. He assured that the dedication and hard work of the officers would not go in vain.
“Together, we will protect this city and its residents and eliminate criminal elements,” he added. All personnel on duty will be equipped with the necessary gadgets and equipment. Officers should visit various areas of the city to ensure the implementation of these instructions.
He also directed the officers to treat citizens with courtesy during inspections. We need to make citizens feel secure. The protection of citizens’ lives and property and the prevention of crime is our primary goal. Any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
