ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq chaired an important meeting to review the overall peace and security situation and existing security arrangements in the federal capital.
The meeting was attended by AIG Operations, and zonal SPs. During the meeting, DIG Islamabad issued clear directives regarding crime prevention, provision of improved policing services to the public, and the professional discharge of official duties.
He instructed officers to further strengthen the patrolling system, ensure that the investigation process remains standard, transparent and strictly in accordance with the law, and carry out indiscriminate action against drug peddlers and those involved in illegal possession of weapons.
Emphasizing public service as the top priority, the DIG Islamabad directed officers to further strengthen trust between the police and citizens through professional conduct and effective service delivery. He reiterated that the protection of citizens lives and property remains the foremost priority of Islamabad Police, warning that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Islamabad Police remains committed to maintaining peace, improving public safety, and ensuring effective law enforcement across the federal capital.
