———- Directs strengthening of security arrangements

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Security Rana Umar Farooq chaired an important meeting to review the law and order situation and security arrangements in the federal capital.
The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Salman Zafar, SSP Security Operations, SP CTD, zonal SPs, SDPOs and all SHOs. During the meeting, the overall law and order situation in the federal capital was reviewed in detail. Various aspects of security arrangements, effective monitoring, the professional performance of police duties and measures to protect citizens’ lives and property were discussed.
The officers were directed to further strengthen security arrangements in their respective areas, take practical measures to prevent crime and remain fully prepared to deal with any untoward situation.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to utilizing all available resources to protect citizens’ lives and property, maintain law and order, and uphold the rule of law. Islamabad Police is utilizing all its professional capabilities to safeguard citizens, ensure effective policing and maintain peace and order in the federal capital.
