DIG holds Open Court at Women Police Station

ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza organized an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the Women Police Station in G-7, aimed at resolving citizens’ issues at their doorstep. “Our offices are open 24/7 for citizens, and the Islamabad Police is committed to reaching the public through various platforms to address their concerns,” DIG Islamabad stated.
Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Syed Ali Raza held the Khuli Kachehri at the Women Police Station. The event was attended by SP City Khalid Mehmood Awan, SP Swan Zone Pari Gul Tareen, women police officers, and a large number of female citizens.

DIG Syed Ali Raza attentively listened to the issues presented by women participants and issued immediate orders for their resolution. He highlighted the establishment of the Women Police Station and the Online Police Station as part of the efforts to address women’s concerns. Women can also report their issues via the 1815 Online Helpline.
“We encourage citizens to openly share their concerns during these open courts without fear. Our doors are always open for the public, and we are dedicated to resolving their problems effectively,” he emphasized. He urged women to develop patience and cooperate with the police to enable more efficient public service.
The open court is part of the Islamabad Police’s public outreach initiative, aimed at solving citizens’ problems at their doorstep. “Women are an essential part of our society. This is your police, and we are here to serve you. Visit police offices, share your issues openly, and we will ensure their immediate resolution,” DIG Ali Raza said.
During the event, the DIG commended the efforts of the SHO Women Police Station and investigative officers for their excellent performance, awarding them with prizes. Women participants also praised the performance of the Women Police Station.
