ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar held an important meeting on operational affairs of the force at the Central Police Office. The meeting was attended by SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen, Admin and the Accounts officers.
During the meeting, the DIG Headquarters reviewed matters related to motor transport (MT), rationalization of manpower, pending issues of the Establishment branch, and ongoing projects of the Development branch in detail.
Special emphasis was placed on reviewing progress of development works and public facilitation projects at police stations, with specific instructions issued to ensure their timely and more effective completion.
Detailed discussions were also held on welfare related matters of police officers and personnel, provision of facilities, and resolution of their issues.
Furthermore, DIG Headquarters issued directions to enhance the capacity of the Anti-Riot Force by improving training, resources, and alignment with modern operational requirements.
During the meeting, he instructed all concerned officers to further improve the overall performance of the department, handle administrative matters in a professional manner, and ensure practical and effective measures to address existing challenges.
He clearly stated that provision of better services to citizens, welfare of police officers and personnel, and improvement in institutional performance are top priorities, and no compromise will be made on these matters.
