ISLAMABAD: DIG Law & Order and Training Muhammad Ateeq Tahir along with AIG Operations Muhammad Arsalan Shahzaib visited the under-construction police station in sector D-12 and reviewed the ongoing construction work.
On this occasion, the relevant staff gave a detailed briefing regarding the construction progress. The DIG Law and Order instructed the concerned officials to accelerate the construction process and ensure that all work is completed in line with international standards.
He emphasized that Islamabad Police has initiated several projects aimed at maintaining peace and tranquility in the federal capital, combating criminal elements and providing maximum facilities to the public among which the construction of new police stations is a top priority.
He further stated that the establishment of the new police station will not only help in controlling crime more efficiently but will also ensure the prompt resolution of citizens issues.
