ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held a key meeting on the crime situation in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by all SHOs of the Islamabad Police.
During the meeting, the DIG Islamabad conducted a detailed review of the performance of all officers. He instructed all officers to utilize all available resources for the prevention of crime and to arrest those involved in murder, attempted murder, and motorcycle theft.
Special operations should be carried out against proclaimed offenders and members of active criminal groups. Robust actions must be taken against those possessing illegal weapons, drug dealers, and land mafia.
Patrolling should be made more effective and meaningful, ensuring all patrolling units remain active and present in the field at all times. All resources must be employed to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He further instructed that any kind of negligence or carelessness in duty performance will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority.
Islamabad Police is fully committed to maintaining peace and order in the city, upholding the rule of law, and restoring public confidence.
