ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq chaired an important meeting to review the ongoing construction, renovation, and infrastructure development projects at Islamabad Police stations.
The meeting was attended by the relevant officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), including Assistant Director Development, Engineer Ali Zulqarnain, and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, a comprehensive briefing was given on the progress of ongoing construction and development works at various police stations. The participants also reviewed project timelines, construction standards, and matters related to the timely completion of the development schemes.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq directed that all ongoing projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe while strictly adhering to the highest standards of quality and transparency. He emphasized that upgraded police infrastructure is essential for improving operational efficiency and enhancing the delivery of public services.
He further stressed the need for close coordination between Islamabad Police, the CDA, and other relevant departments to remove any obstacles and ensure the timely completion of all development projects.
DIG Islamabad reaffirmed that modernizing police stations and providing improved facilities for both police personnel and the public remain among the key priorities of Islamabad Police, adding that every effort will be made to complete the projects efficiently and on schedule.
