DIG reviews public facilities, service delivery

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem visited the G-9 and F-6 Police Facilitation Centers, where he conducted a detailed review of security arrangements, policing matters and the facilities being provided to citizens.
During the visit, he met police officers and officials and also interacted directly with citizens visiting the facilitation centers, listening to their issues and complaints.
DIG Islamabad directed the concerned officers to ensure the provision of timely, transparent and quality police services to citizens, promptly address public complaints and provide maximum possible facilitation through effective service delivery. He emphasized that public convenience and citizen satisfaction must be given the highest priority.
Meanwhile, on the directions of DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem, SSP Investigation Salman Zafar held an open court at his office, which was attended by a large number of citizens who presented their issues and complaints. SSP Investigation listened to their concerns in detail and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers on the spot for their prompt redressal.
Islamabad Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens while ensuring the provision of transparent, timely and quality police services and the prompt resolution of their issues.
