ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem visited various duty points across the city, where he met officers and officials on duty and reviewed security arrangements, checking procedures and the overall law and order situation. He directed officers and officials to remain alert and vigilant and perform their duties professionally. He emphasized that all available resources must be utilized to protect citizens’ lives and property, ensure effective checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and respond promptly to any unusual situation.
Meanwhile, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited the Red Zone and Zero Point checkpoint, where he reviewed security arrangements, checking procedures and the performance of officers and officials on duty. He directed them to ensure effective checking of suspicious individuals, vehicles and motorcycles, avoid any negligence in security duties, and treat citizens courteously and responsibly.
Furthermore, DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem held an open court at his office, which was attended by a large number of citizens. He listened carefully to their complaints and issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for their prompt resolution. He stated that resolving citizens’ complaints promptly and on merit is a top priority of Islamabad Police. Citizens can attend the daily open court at the DIG Office to seek redressal of their complaints without any recommendation or reference.
Separately, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting attended by SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi, and the relevant SDPOs and SHOs.
The meeting reviewed crime prevention measures, action against criminal elements, effective patrolling and the overall law and order situation in the city. SSP Operations directed officers to intensify action against criminal elements, further strengthen the patrolling system and ensure all necessary measures to protect citizens’ lives and property.
Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to protect citizens’ lives and property, ensure prompt redressal of complaints, prevent crime and maintain law and order in the federal capital. All officers and officials have been directed to perform their duties with vigilance, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility to provide citizens with a safe and peaceful environment.
