ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted a visit to several duty points across the city.
During the visit, he inspected security arrangements at various locations and interacted with police officers on duty encouraging and motivating them. Emphasizing the importance of citizens safety DIG Islamabad assured that every possible measure is being taken to ensure their protection.
He also praised the efforts of Islamabad Police officers including men, women and senior officials for their exceptional performance in fulfilling their duties. He commended their dedication to ensuring security and maintaining law and order.
He stated that Islamabad Police will not allow any disruption to the peace and tranquility of the federal capital and will ensure the protection of citizens lives, property and both private and government assets.
He further directed all officers to brief their subordinates to effectively address any law and order situation and to personally inspect all duty points.
Protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top priority of Islamabad Police and any lapse in this responsibility will not be tolerated, he added.
