ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, visited Faizabad to review the overall situation and meet with the officers and officials deployed on duty. On this occasion, SSP Operations Islamabad, Muhammad Shoaib Khan, along with other police officers, was also present.
He directed all officers and officials to remain fully alert and vigilant, emphasizing that no negligence would be tolerated in ensuring the security of citizens.
DIG Islamabad stated “Every officer must stay alert; there will be no compromise on the safety of the people. The continuity of peace and order in the city must be maintained at all costs.
Any attempt at mischief or lawlessness will be dealt with strictly, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.”
He further appealed to the public to refrain from engaging in unlawful activities and to fully cooperate with the police in maintaining peace.
He reiterated “The protection of citizens’ lives and property is our mission, while public trust is our most valuable asset.”
