ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq along with zonal officers conducted a visit to various duty points across the city to review security arrangements.
During the visit, DIG Islamabad emphasized that all necessary measures were being taken to ensure the safety of citizens.
He commended the efforts of Islamabad Police personnel including female officers for their dedication to maintaining law and order.
Additionally, senior police officials were also present on the occasion. DIG Islamabad reaffirmed that Islamabad Police would not allow any disruption to the peace and security of the federal capital.
He stressed that the protection of citizens lives and property as well as public and private assets remains the top priority.
Furthermore, he directed officers to brief their lower subordinates and personally inspect all security arrangements to effectively respond to any law and order situation. He reiterated that no negligence in safeguarding the public would be tolerated.
Earlier, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi presided over an important meeting on various ongoing development projects for citizens convenience and police welfare at the Central Police Office Islamabad.
