ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the SSP Safe City holds a briefing session for officers and personnel of Dolphin Squad (Emergency Response Unit).
During the briefing, the SSP Safe City emphasized the importance of responding promptly to calls made on the Pucar-15 helpline regarding any incidents and taking appropriate action as per the nature of the situation.
He said that strict patrolling measures should be ensured in the city in order to protect the lives and property of the citizens. He asked the officials to behave politely with citizens and ensure prompt assistance to people in case of any emergency.
He directed the officers and officials to maintain a vigilant eye on suspicious individuals during the duty, ensuring thorough proper checking and taking strict action against criminal elements. He further stressed the significance of maintaining a courteous attitude towards the public and adopting a professional approach rather than a traditional one.
He also highlighted that combating crime and ensuring the safety of citizens are among the top priorities of Islamabad Capital Police.
No leniency will be allowed against any elements causing disturbances to public safety. While officers implement comprehensive strategies against criminal elements, they must ensure the effectiveness of their measures. Any form of negligence in this regard will not be tolerated, he maintained.
