KUNMING: Chinese police have seized a haul of methamphetamine concealed in 10 hollowed out jade stones. The drug shipment weighing 9.98 kg was seized at a hotel in the city of Ruili, southwest China’s Yunnan Province, after a tipoff, Yunnan police announced Friday. One suspect was caught in the seizure which took place on Nov. 11. Further investigation is underway. China has intensified the fight against drug-related crimes in recent years. –Agenceis
