ECB spokesperson said:β A Pakistan player has been cleared to join the squad after undergoing a period of self-isolation. The player was tested positive for the remnants of previous COVID-19 infection and in consultation with Public Health England and a virologist a safety-first approach was taken to isolate the player.β
βThe player is now tested negative with no risk of infection to other players and officials,β he added.
It must be noted that Kashif along with Haider Ali and Imran Khan traveled to England on July 8, after they were tested negative for COVID-19 twice in Pakistan.
