Karachi: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket South Africa (CSA) have jointly decided to call off three ODIs following a couple of COVID-19 positive cases in both teams.
According to reports, ECB insisted the host board postpone ODIs due to COVID-19 cases in both the teams.
Earlier, CSA called for three postponements in four days but it didn’t work to continue with the series. The first ODI was scheduled to take place last Friday but due to postponement, CSA had decided to host back-to-back ODIs on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It must be noted here that England beat South Africa 3-0 in T20I series took place earlier. – Agencies
