RAWALPINDI: Acting on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, Rawalpindi Police have implemented enhanced security arrangements at churches across the city, police said.
Senior police officers are present in the field to monitor security arrangements and ensure effective supervision on the ground.
According to police spokesperson, strict security protocols are being followed, including thorough body searches of worshippers before allowing entry into church premises.
Authorities further stated that special instructions have been issued to ensure respectful and courteous behavior with citizens attending religious services, while maintaining a high level of vigilance for their safety.
City Police Officer CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani said that all available resources are being utilized to protect minority rights and ensure peace and order in the city. He added that safeguarding places of worship remains a top priority for Rawalpindi Police. –Agencies
