Enhanced security measures implemented in High Security Zone

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police remains fully committed to maintaining law and order in the federal capital. In this regard, fully equipped police units are diligently performing their duties to ensure robust security arrangements at courts situated in the High Security Zone.
SSP VVIP Protection, Capt. (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, instructed police officers and personnel on duty that the High Security Zone contains important government offices, superior courts, and embassies, whose protection must be ensured. All officers and personnel have been directed to carry out their duties with full dedication to maintain peace and order, and to avoid any negligence or carelessness during duty.
Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of citizens. No one will be allowed to disrupt public peace. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious object or activity to the police helpline “Pucar-15.”
