Exhibition held to remember legendary Sadqain

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of Arts and Sadequain Foundation organized a ceremony on the death anniversary of Pakistani artist Sadequain, a famous and world-renowned calligrapher and artist of the subcontinent.
The calligraphy exhibition was inaugurated by Secretary National Heritage and Culture Fareena Mazhar, Director General of Pakistan National Council of Ayub Jamali and students from various schools, colleges and universities of Islamabad participated in large numbers.
The aim of the event was to highlight the services of Sadequain for the promotion of art and culture.On this occasion, a documentary on the life of Sadequain was also presented, in which Sadegheen’s life, well-known calligraphers and services to art and culture were seen.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary National Heritage and Culture Fareena Mazhar said that Sadequain was a unique artist as well as a famous calligrapher and poet, known for his work all over the world. All his life he was busy trying to create a new world climate.
On this occasion, the Director General of Pakistan National Council of Ayub Jamali said that as soon as one hears the name of Sadequain , that chapter of the world of art opens which has no single aspect. It is done.
