Farewell ceremony held in honour of retiring Cops

ISLAMABAD: Naib Qasid Muhammad Sharif, who rendered tireless and valuable services to Islamabad Police for approximately four decades, has retired after completing his service.
In this regard, a dignified farewell ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad on the occasion of his retirement. AIG Investigations Syed Inayat Ali Shah, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Other police officers were also present on the occasion.
AIG Investigations appreciated the services rendered by the retiring official for the police department and stated that retirement is a part of service, whoever begins service will one day retire.
He added that Mr. Sharif served the police department for a long period, and now it is the department turn to serve him. During service, everyone should strive to achieve such accomplishments that their name is remembered with honor and their character is recalled in good words.
He further stated that we should commit ourselves to serving the public to the fullest during our service in order to attain the pleasure of Almighty Allah. AIG Investigations said that the retiring official devoted a valuable part of his life to the police department in serving the public, and in return, the department granted him respect, dignity, and status, for which he should be grateful to Almighty Allah.
He assured that if the retiree faces any private or official issue, his office doors will always remain open for him.
At the end, the chief guest appreciated the services of the retiring Naib Qasid, presented him with certificates of appreciation and gifts, and extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.
