ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was organized at Safe City Islamabad in honour of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashfaq and Sub-Inspector Tafseer Hussain who retired from the wireless staff of Islamabad Police. The ceremony was attended by DIG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, DIG Safe City Islamabad praised the services of the retired officers for the police department and said that retirement is part of the service. Whoever starts their service will eventually retire.
You have served the police department for a long time and during the service we all should aim to do work that will bring us honor and be remembered for good character.
We should pledge to perform as much public service as possible during our tenure to gain the pleasure of Allah.
He further added that you have spent a valuable part of your life serving the public through the police department and in return the department has given you respect, dignity and a place for which you should be thankful to Allah.
He also mentioned that if you face any private or official issue my office door is always open.
On this occasion the retiring officers expressed their happiness for the honor they received and thanked DIG Safe City Islamabad.
At the end of the ceremony the chief guest praised the services of the retired officers and presented them with honorary police shields and gifts and extended best wishes for their future.
